“This is the first time I will be wearing hearing aids my experience at Garden State Hearing and balance has been outstanding. Today was my second visit. My audiologist Kim Rudolph has spent a lot of time with me. On my first visit she examined my ears and did a hearing test. It confirmed what I already knew that I had mild to moderate hearing loss especially in the high frequencies. I have had two prior hearing test that showed the same thing. I have been having difficulty hearing people for many years but it’s gotten to the point now, where I need to do something about it. They carry hearing aids from all the major brands. For my particular hearing loss and situation we decided on Starkey Genesis 24 RIC hearing aids. I had a long list of questions that Kim took the time to answer and she explained all the different models. These are the best and newest model from Starkey. They ordered my hearing aids and made an appointment for the following week the secretary Ann Marie was also very helpful. I had many questions and called the office quite a few times when Ann Marie couldn’t answer my questions Kim would call me back. On my second visit Kim showed me how to put my hearing aids in she paired them with my phone and showed me how to use the Starkey hearing aid app. She was very patient and made sure I understood everything. She then paired my hearing aids to the TV accessory which streams via Bluetooth directly to my hearing aids. She programmed my hearing aids explained how to clean them and change the wax filters and domes. She gave me a brush new domes and wax filters they don’t need much maintenance. We then scheduled another follow up visit for 2 weeks”
